The Starlight Cinema Taupo Hobby Expo – Taupo – 14,15 July 2018

What

The Expo, organised by the Taupo Model Railway Club, features model railways from around the North Island, and also gives local model makers, craft and hobby groups an opportunity to display their skills to the wider community.

Refreshments are available, as well as free activities for the youngsters, making the Hobby Expo the perfect venue for a family outing.

Tech Talk Taupo – Taupo – 23 May 2018

Join us at this official NZ Tech Week event here in Taupo.

We have invited eight guest speakers who will be presenting in ‘Pecha Kucha’ style on topics all related to technology.

From robots to electric vehicles, digitization to future thinking – this will be an evening of inspiration and aspiration.

This free event is suitable for all ages… we encourage parents to bring their teens… or come after work with your colleagues.

Topics include:
– Is it time to join the electric vehicle revolution?
– How to start and succeed in a global market from Taupo
– Artifical intelligence – the robots are coming
– How technology is changing the film industry
– Will technology solve the future problems of the world?
